Candan Ercetin completed her high school education at Galatasaray High school in 1982, Istanbul. Following that she got her degree in classic archeology from Istanbul University in 1986 and then finalized this part of her education with a Master of Arts in the same subject from Vienna University. In 1979 Candan entered the Istanbul conservatoire for singing and finished successfully in 1991. Since 1994 Candan is an active member of staff at Galatasary high school teaching music.

Hazirim, Capkin, Elbette, Neden, Candan Chante Hier Pour Aujourd’hui, Melek, Aman Doktor (Turkish & Greek) is the list of Candan’s albums dating back to 1995. With each album Candan entertains her loyal fans and at the same time accumulates more. Since 1996, songs such as Sevdim Sevilmedim, Oyalama Artık, Unut Sevme, Parcalandim have also been remixed.

Candan has also been very active on television, since 1994 she has been both host and producer to programs such as “Cuff Link”, “Rendezvous”, “Daily Life”, “Solo songs with Candan Ercetin”

In 1998 and later on in 2005 she took part in two musical productions the first was “Anlat Sehrazat” and the other “Yildizlarin Altinda”. In 2003, Candan sang and wrote lyrics for 2 songs “Ozledim” & “Yazik Oldu” that were featured in the Bosnia Herzegovina, Turkish, Austria and French produced film “Gori Vatra”, she also has songs featured in the film “Golgesizler”.
